Several years ago, a cry went up to the Lord, “Who is on the prayer wall around Houston and the Gulf Coast? Who is on the north gate? Who is on the east, the south and west? Who is watching in the night? Who Lord? How can we connect with one another? How can we link up in defense of our city?
FIRST ALERT was birthed out of this cry before the Lord.
The call was to raise up a network of prophetic voices and intercessors (all ages, races, genders and denominations) who would stand on the wall as watchmen, sounding an alarm for prayer, to alert the body in defense of our land. Each voice being linked by a communication system. Each voice honored and appreciated for the call of the Lord on their life. Our mission:
To WATCH - To SOUND THE ALARM - To PRAY - To PRAISE

SOUND THE ALARM
- Prophetic voices and intercessors are encouraged to post prayer directives, prophetic words, scripture, prayer requests and field reports on this web site’s interactive blog page. You can Comment on an existing alert or Report a new one.
* To Comment on an incident report already posted - click on the Alert Page, click on the comment tag for the incident you are interested in, type in your comment in the box and “Say It”. Your comment will be sent to an editor for publishing.
* To Report a new incident - click on the the Write/Manage tag under your username, click the Write tag under the FIRST ALERT Prayer Network banner and begin writing your report. You will be able to categorize, edit and save your personnal report before it goes to publication.

As diverse as our great city is, so are her prayer needs. FIRST ALERT is designed to respond to emergency situations and night watch reports.
